<![CDATA[Walgreen's Balance Rewards - bonus 5000 point 'clip to card' via email - Targeted]]>Walgreens sent out an email introducing a new 4000 point reward tier. (= $4) and made the 5000 point reward tier (= $5) the maximum tier. So 5000 points is the maximum you can redeem per transaction – the other higher tiers have been eliminated. These changes are eff. 11/4/18.

This email also contained a 5000 pt ‘clip to card’ as a way of saying ‘thanks’.

So if you have a lot of points accumulated, you may want to use them before 11/4/18. I had over 90,000 pts, so I placed two $50 orders to eat up 80,000 pts.
