Since I can’t liquidate MC gc easily I think I’ll buy $200 MC gc at Staples for 5% on Ink then use the MC gc to buy the Visas. Still 4.05% profit after activation fee. Variable load cards don’t work in my store.

I buy $500 GCs for federal tax payment. Of the 3 processors, 2 of them don’t work with MC, and the other one does not work with Visa. Strange.

I was able to buy variable load in a different state. I guess there’s a law that the activation fee can’t exceed 10% of the value of the card and the variable load cards’ fee is $5.95. If you only put $50 on it then you’re paying more than 10% of the value to activate.
Bought 11 MC gc at 2 Staples stores today and used them along with last week’s Visa cards to buy 6 @ $500 Visas at Shaws. Already bought 1 $499.12 money order. Just 5 more to cash out.

It’s probably just regional, but an app called DOSH is giving 4% cashback in my area for in-store purchases, couple that with the 6% I get back from Am Ex Blue Preferred, I will get 10% back when I buy anything at Vons. For example, I would get about $10 back when I bought a $100 Visa. Nice,
