I pounced on this, already ordered a lot. down to my last 30 or so which I’ll hand in this month to OD/Staples.

This might be expired. I just ordered and it showed 1 remaining when I did. Now shows 0 remaining and only 2 had been available. I don’t need empties right now but I read the post last night where @Dionaea said she was having trouble finding them at reasonable price so I bought. Who knows when the pandemic effect will ease up.
In January I bought ink (40% back in Rewards on the purchase) for a 2nd acct. It would have been sad if I didn’t have cheap empties to recycle on the 2nd acct.

I just hope Staples and Office Depot never do away with their recycling programs or else a lot of us will be stuck with worthless carts.

yep. all sold out now. there were a total of 3 avail. I got one, then posted the deal, Maine got one and hopefully someone else here on Phat. I knew this wouldn’t last long.
This seller I’ve bought from before, very reliable. and the cheapest I’ve ever seen a lot of 300 was about $28 and that was about a year ago now before all hell broke loose. $44.99/300 is a very good price right now, and there aren’t many auctions at this price point if any showing up. this seller used to have like 10 or 20 available at a time with make an offer and BIN price. think @MrVietnam ordered from them last year.

First they went to 10/20 then they went to $2. I would hope they would go to $1/empty before stopping it completely. While not as profitable one could recoup one’s out of pocket at $1.

Well, I recycle 30 a month (at least, unless there’s a weekly promo like OD had once). so this is 10 months worth, about the most I’ll buy at a time in case the programs get killed. Remember last year when we were mailing the carts into Staples?

I regret not getting on the recycling bandwagon when they were giving $4 a cart unlimited. Those days would have been huge MMs. You could buy a new computer or other high ticket item with the free money you got from recycling at those rates.

Thanks for the seller review. I purchased without thinking about seller. Saw that there was only 1 remaining, calculated the per cart price and bought.
I bought 500 in Dec. 2019, so a little over a year ago. $49.95 w/FS. I was recycling 40/mo for awhile. IDK how many I have left of the 500 but it can’t be that many. Usually I buy when there’s an eBay code but I haven’t seen a good $ off code in a long time.

@mrvietnam I bought $75 in ink on 2nd account, getting back 40% in Rewards so $30. Roughly $45 oop. Will be able to recycle 10 per month x 7 mo. for $140. Just because one can’t recycle 20 doesn’t make it a bad deal.

Yes, the box is smaller than before, but if they’re neatly packed as shown in the picture above, should be fine. I’m not about to count 300 dirty cartridges.
