I’ve also noticed some products were even less filled. The bottles do show actual content weight or volume but seeing a partial bottle of something makes me think they all spilled.

It had to happen some time, but years ago when their competitor, the 99 Cent Only stores raised their prices they went from 99 cents to 99.9 cents. $1.25 is a huge jump for a store that claims to be a dollar store in the name of their company.

One of the (few) main reasons we go there is for cheap greeting cards. She was happy to report that you can still get cards there for 50¢/2 for $1.

Yes, I’m that cheap. I did see the store had removed the “Everything’s $1” signage from the building. I may head back in the next couple of days to see if prices have increased on everything or how prices are indicated.

My Dollar Tree changed to $1.25 around Thanksgiving. I thought it was supposed to increase in 2022 but my store did it earlier. Fortunately the greeting cards prices remained the same.

I visited my local Dollar Tree and found no price increases. I may try another store to confirm if it was just the one or if many/most of the local stores have not increased their prices yet.

already $1.25 for EVERYTHING here in Florida. GRRRR. 25% price increase a lot. they should have done a volume discount at least $1.25 ea 9 for $10 or something.

That’s very regional. Around here it’s this cheap sh** brand of bread that isn’t worth $1.25 to me. Can get decent LONG dated bread at Aldi for less.

For some reason, I recall seeing it was to take effect this past Tuesday but too lazy to search.

I did just receive an email from Big Lots indicating they are pushing their “Onederland of deals” where everything is $1.00 except a couple of items on the link were $1.09 and $1.39. Close enough for Big Lots!
