Maybe I am mistaken, but it seems not too long ago they already raised the prices. Maybe this will become an annual thing now. Glad I have a large stash of Forever stamps, good return on investment.

Upon doing some research, I see on 8/29/21, the cost of a stamp went from 55 cents to 58 cents.

Actually it looks like the price increase will be effective 7/10/22. not 7/1/22

What’s Mail ? Don’t think I have mailed 10 first class letters in the last 10 years. My current book of stamps is probably 10-11 years old. Last time I used one was probably right after my last payphone call! 😀 😀

We’re on a vacation, saved for 2 years for this, and I took a list of 21 family and friends/neighbors with us, bought 25 postcards at the Tibbitts Point Lighthouse for $10, and spent a couple of hours writing personalized messages to all 21, mailing them from the local post office so they’d hopefully arrive the day before we return home. We send invitations, real physical paper invitations, to family and friends/neighbors for both casual relaxed easygoing gatherings and sit-down dinners at our home 4 or 5 times a year (a lot less expensive than you think it would be, just follow the KISS principle). No cell phones, no TV, no distractions. It’s a fun time to try new recipes, enjoy good food, good talk, good friends. Not one person has complained about receiving a paper mailed invitation. 😛
