I bought one and installed it under an overhanging roof in the sunlight. There was not a cloud in the sky. I put it on around 2pm. I put the power on, It was on forever! If you have an overhanging roof, don’t buy it!

I tried it in a second location that receives the sun, and turned on the switch. It turns on! I just called Amazon, they sent me a replacement. Hope it works!
Then I asked about the promotional credit for two dollars that I won for prime day. I ordered something for prime day, but it didn’t give me a credit. Amazon gave me the two dollar credit today.
