FWIW you can freeze these. I vacuum sealed them but the Wonderful site seems to say that you can just freeze them in their bag. Pistachios are one of the few things that I look for after Christmas.

the point of freezing them is? to extend freshness? any other reason? To be honest, once I open a bag I usually have them polished off in 2-3 days anyway.

If I didn’t have shells I would eat them by the handful. The shell makes me eat them one at a time.
