I wouldn’t worry about eating a can of tuna marked “Best By August '24”. Canned foods can last for years if stored properly. The date just means they can’t sell it after that date. It will end up in a scratch & dent grocery store or donated. Feeding America accepts packaged items up to 6 months after their Best By date.

First off, chunk light tuna is often on sale 79c-99c a can at grocery stores. you’d be a fool to pay over $2 per on a 5 oz can. $12 for a case of 12 max. I stand by my claim that it’s short dated stock they are clearing out. They can’t sell it after expiration, so they often discount it short dated. PS @Marvomatic the water and oil are different products. if you get sent the wrong item just complain, screen shot the product page.
