Answering my own question here, but it expires December 9, 2025. So we can let our current memberships we got at half price last year expire and then cancel those and then soon thereafter get in on the deal for another year.

Some of mine expire November 30. I think I’ll use the $5 and hopefully $3 SB then cancel before the 30th to prevent auto-renewal. Hopefully I can re-up in December.
Last year one could receive the $10 more than once, ie if you signed up for 3 accounts you received 3@$10.

Once fresh pass drops off, unused points will expire the following month is my understanding.
If you renew, even in December won’t affect anything if you renew before your current points expire or you use them of course.

Let’s talk a little strategy here of when to cancel fresh pass. My subscription ends in the middle of November and today I’ve already used my five dollar credit for this month. If I cancel now my fresh pass account will remain valid until it expires in the middle of this month, but.will I get the five dollars again for November or will it remember that I already got it from my last subscriptio? Would I be better off canceling now and waiting until the last day of this promotion on December 9 to reapply to make sure that I get my 13 five dollar credits? But then again you have to think about the points in the account and if reapplying for a fresh pass on that account will save them from expiring…

I always try to cancel auto renews prior. I did already clip my $5/5 for November but haven’t use it. As soon as I do, I will cancel. I do have a decent amount of points I’m going to redeem ahead of the expiration that will be valid to 11/30 I believe, maybe even 12/31. Either way, at the holidays there’s lots of good sales inc any Black Friday promos Acme runs, so spending the $20/20 redemption shouldn’t be hard.
Now, in my case, both my wife and I have our own cell #'s and emails linked to 2 distinct accounts. Right now FP is on her’s. My next FP sub will be on mine, I may sign up next week or around 12/7. I haven’t decided for sure. But opening on a new phone/email I’ll have no issues. Then next year if it is the same deal, I’ll just flip flop back to my wife’s. I’m also expecting some great gift card deals later this month, so I have to be aware of the points earnings on GC’s that they don’t expire after a month, so I may have to revisit my strategy. Either way, definitely rejoining. But either way, with a different account signing up the 13 $5 FP credits is a given. And yes, I think there is a chance they’ll know one was already issued to you for November. So December 8th maybe a better option.

Can I sign up for the FreshPass discounted subscription if I’m already enrolled in a regular FreshPass subscription?
If you are already signed up for a monthly or annual plan, subsequent renewals will be at the discounted plan price as long as you are verified. Changes will go into effect at the start of the next plan period.

How long did it take to show the pending status? Mine has not tracked after 3 days.
I also had to call the FreshPass customer service to get this month’s $5 coupon.

Jewel honored advertised sale prices on soda, Progresso, Chobani, and lean chuck roast. 5% cashback with PayPal debit card nuked the taxes/tip.

@c3 I haven’t used Rakuten much so maybe it doesn’t mean anything? All I know is that the $ in the upper left corner in red shows the $10 from yesterday AM. I’ve done this offer several times over the past 2 weeks and the total has increased as it should even though there’s nothing under Pending, Processing or Completed for any of them.

How does the $5 monthly credit for annual subscribers work?
Annual active paid FreshPass subscribers will receive a monthly credit valued at $5 every month. For Annual paid FreshPass subscribers before 9/16/24, the credit can be applied to in-store or online purchases of qualifying products. For Annual paid FreshPass subscribers on and after 9/16/24, the credit can be applied to in-store or DriveUp & GoTM (excludes delivery) purchases of qualifying products. If an existing subscriber as of 9/16/24 cancels membership and then re-instates, that subscriber will receive the new $5 off credit that is only available for in-store or DriveUp & Go purchases. At the beginning of each month, clip the $5 coupon that shows up in your account. That is valid until the end of the month.

I just signed up for FreshPass this morning. It took a few hours, but Rakuten is showing $10 as “pending” for me. If it’s still not there for you, I suggest reporting it as missing cash back (through Help). I’ve had a few incidences of missing cash back in the past week. For those, the system has automatically given me the credit after I requested the missing cash back. Worst case you have to talk to customer service, but in general they pay out even if the system doesn’t catch it originally.

This is strange. Rakuten showed $10 ‘pending’. But I just checked my account and now $0 is pending – they took away the $10.
