Not to be crass, but don’t they think it’s a little late to tell people NOT to serve or eat fresh strawberries sold as far back as March 5th? Unless you froze them, these berries would have been long consumed by now, they wouldn’t stay fresh for one to two and a half months.
The FDA warning is for frozen (they suggest throwing them out).
I think it’s more of a heads up because Hepatitis A symptoms happen from 15 to 50 days out.
@ctujackbauer think you misunderstood my post. I said UNLESS you froze them, most people would have long ago consumed them. Didn’t say having froze them made them safe to eat.

RE: FREE Hamburger with Any $1 Purchase @ Burger King - exp unk
I believe this offer is just for today or the weekend, it was loaded as it is National Hamburger Day today.
If you haven’t used your Free Large Fries w.purchase offer for the week yet, you are better off using that and buying the hamburger for $1.39. Not much in the way of ‘good values’ at $1 to get the free burger IMO.

@mrvietnam said in 250 points today 5/26! Burger King APP 'Thirst For Speed' Racing Game - Daily Prizes Crown Points or free soft drink see calendar of prizes in thread:
Remember to race today, Thursday, 5/26, and earn 250 crowns.
You are only allowed to redeem only one offer per hour. Does anyone know if you can redeem for multiple items and pay with crown points and not have that time between order requirement as offers do? I playef this promotion on two accounts and tonight I was hoping to get Whoppers for dinner for the whole family and cash out.
MC, please update the title to advertise today’s 250 crown prize rather than the prize from a couple days ago.
Sorry Mr. V, I don’t know the answer to that. You can do a ‘mock’ order w/multiple items and see if it lets you without finalizing it. If you can only redeem for one item with rewards per hour, that is a pain I suppose.
Also, I am pretty sure you can stack an ‘offer’ with rewards redemption, so get the $1 fries or onion rings.

Get 'dem 400 crowns today.
This has been one of BK’s better deals in some time. No rush to redeem the points until you’re ready and enough free points for close to two whoppers or two Ch’King sandwiches (750pts)
Also, I’m pretty sure you can stack an ‘offer’ with a rewards redemption, say $1 fries or onion rings. Not sure if offers that require an actual purchase will stack (ie, free fries w/purchase) but you can try.

RE: Deals have slowed down to a trickle, with inflation!
That’s a relative statement @Marvomatic, actually when inflation hits and prices are high is when you have to be even more conscious of prices and taking advantage of sales to ‘load up’.
Obviously price points for what is considered a ‘deal’ in 2022 versus 2019 change, typically higher, but still the idea is to pay the BEST PRICE you can to maximize stretching your dollar.
Deals are always out there somewhere, they may just require more effort. That’s why being an educated consumer and staying up on ‘deals’ may be even more important now than ever.

@mistercheap Until earlier today there was iBotta for One by Poise. There’s also $5 BC wyb $15 with mq’s in this past Sunday’s paper. Because the BC is only $5 you have to buy $5 worth in a single transaction.
I didn’t get the Q’s and didn’t have time to order them. But yes on the IB offer for them, still there.
-
RE: Rite Aid 5/15-21 Spend $60 get $20BC with Q, ad scan
Rite Aid has some new types of clearance signs that aren’t as noticible as the previous ones.
The One By Poise is a good example.
There’s another good 50% off clearance on VIVA paper towels for $4.99 and there’s also a $1/1 Coupons.com coupon too. they had been $9.99. think it’s a 6 or 8 pack of PTs that’s a larger size than standard roll.
-
RE: Rite Aid 5/15-21 Spend $60 get $20BC with Q, ad scan
Rohto Digi-Eye Eye Drops, on clearance $2.49, $3/1 Ibotta offer, limit 2. YMMV on finding but nice filler towards $60 or $50 Q’s and a mm to boot. Or a good way to monetize some BC.
-

@mrvietnam said in Burger King APP 'Thirst For Speed' Racing Game - Daily Prizes Crown Points or free soft drink (win 200-600 crown points each race):
In the OP it says you can win 200 to 600 Crown points each race, how do you do that? I see there are days you earn 250 Crowns and days you earn 400. When you are racing do the number of Crowns you collect and or the time you finish your race in make any difference? I thought you were guaranteed the prize for the day’s race no matter what.
@MrVietnam that was my goof, didn’t fully understand the prizes when I first posted this. I thought it was tied to how well you ‘raced’ but obviously it has no bearing. I’ll fix the title for better accuracy.

Mod Edit:
Title edited to reflect accuracy and add swagbucks $15mm potential.
Please do not put “FREE” in title w/o qualifying, when item isn’t free. You must first pay out the $45, you get $45 in store credit at a later date, however you still must pay the charge for $45. It’s more like a rebate of sorts.
Also added in SWAGBUCKS info to make a $15mm for those who use SB.
