Did you have any issue linking a bank account? Plaid keeps giving an error even if I use routing/account numbers. Sometimes the site just hangs too. Pretty terrible experience with them so far.

There’s mention of a Master Card Debit Card, I really don’t want a debit card. Is that a requirement to receive for opening this?

As for the Bar Code deal at WalMart, you have to pay with funds from this app via that bar code, then you get it back? Take it that’s B&M purchase only.

Is giving your social security # required to open? any credit pull?

1. I get debit cards and destroy them without activating.

3. IIRC they ask for name/address/mobile phone/last 4 digits SSN. I got zero notice of a credit pull for this checking app. Credit unions have done soft pulls.

Anyway, besides the streaming services deal, I also have a deal for 5% back on utilities up to $15. There’s a $1.50 fee to pay by debit card with Duke, but I might as well since I’ll be saving $13.50. There are some interesting deals in this app. Might keep it for awhile after to see if they keep up.

So overall with One, should get back $75 from Swagbucks, $25 set up bonus, $15 walmart, $25 from streaming and $15 from utilities rewards. Thanks for posting OP!
