RE: Peacock $1.99/month or $19.99/year ($14/year with Amex) YMMV
@mrvietnam Yea that’s the offer I posted in the OP. I guess if you just want 3 months free this is a good deal. I’m just doing the year and hoping I get the credits.

Does Peacock offer any free trial periods? If so, does anyone have a link? There is a new Monk special coming out on 12/8 I think that I would like to watch, but I don’t need a long-term subscription.
$2.50 back at Rakuten, so if you sign up for the monthly deal and you get the CB, that’s like 1 free month.

Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date). Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 1/31/2024, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items/services from your qualifying purchase have been shipped/provided by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. Limit 1 enrolled Card per American Express Card online account. The enrolled Card account must be active, not past due, canceled, or have a returned payment outstanding to receive statement credit. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. Amex Offers are available for varying and limited periods of time and are dynamic and personalized. If you navigate away from the Amex Offers page, you may see different offers when you return. For questions regarding your Card Account, please call the number on the back of your Card. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. @dangeruss said in BJ's Renew for $20 and get a $20 Reward, Expires: 12/31/23.:
@marvomatic whats there to miss? I have a bunch of BJs next to me, and I have a BJs, Sam’s club and a costco membership and I shop mostly costco. Prices are better, you don’t have to coupon clip, and they don’t look at you like a criminal whenever you try to return something.
I will do the free renewal thought, thanks.
I only have a BJs and Sam’s near me and much prefer BJ’s. My Sam’s is an older dumpy one, no gas station even. Overall I like the selection and even prices better at BJ’s. I’ve never had an issue with c/s there on returns or other issues. Maybe you just look shady @dangeRuss ?
Doesn’t matter how I look, the only times I had issues returning stuff at Costco (and I return stuff a lot), is when a. I try to return berries with less than half remaining, but even then it has to be like obvious, and b. If I try to return food that’s expired. At BJs, I swear it’s like pulling teeth, and I feel like there’s only one or two people working, while most of the time at Costco they got 5 people (although some percentage is going to be doing memberships, but they never let a line build up)
One time I waited over an hour to check out at Sam’s club, because I wanted to use a gift card. Only to later find out I could’ve used it the whole time using the mobile app. The only thing I miss from Sam’s club is the fresh squeezed OJ, and maybe the lens wipes.

@marvomatic said in BJ's Renew for $20 and get a $20 Reward, Expires: 12/31/23.:
I used to use the BJ Coupons twice, at a self service kiosk. That was five years ago. I wonder if the machines catch it now?
If you can find multiple copies, you can usually use multiples. It still requires peeling (or clipping digital coupons). Much easier to just put the item in your cart and not worry about any of that stuff at Costco. Although sometimes there are quantities limits, most of the time you van buy as much as you want for the sale price. They also have the generic Sudafed for like $1.
They don’t take manufacturers coupons at Costco, which can be annoying, but I find that if I’m shopping sale prices they can be hard to beat unless you’re on this websites, and probably requires extra time/gas investment.
I did some apples to apples comparison on some tires and was surprised that BJs is actually more expensive when it comes to the original price. I would’ve expected those prices to be roughly the same barring any promos.

What are you talking about? It’s only for the shirts on the linked page.
How have they cheated you of shirts? I’ve always had a great experience ordering shirts from them. The only issue I feel like the graphics don’t last as long as they should.

Swagbucks and checkout 51 are the same company. That’s a good way to get both accounts closed. You can use one of those with Ibotta, however.
Where did you see that? I don’t think they are considering that the swagbucks app actually works and checkout51 breaks half the time and has very few offers.
Either way mine worked fine. SB didn’t take this one automatically, had to be reviewed, but I got the credit in a few days.

Happy it is 4 per household. For those who have larger families and want more, they can ask family and friends with smaller families to send for the kits and then share their extras.
I have boxes of these left back when insurance was covering 8 per person, can’t even figure out how to sell them, I think still not allowed on Amazon and ebay

RE: Retailers are losing $100 billion a year from return fraud, bots and coupon stacking, study says
@mistercheap said in Retailers are losing $100 billion a year from return fraud, bots and coupon stacking, study says:
Their definition of ‘coupon stacking’ is wrong. Someone creating multiple accounts via email to use the same ‘promo’ code to be a new customer again multiple times is not stacking. Stacking is using multiple coupons/offers on one order that can double dip on products, which typically is NOT fraud (ie, RA store coupon and Manu on same item). Obviously whoever wrote this article has no clue.
To be fair while they didn’t describe coupon stacking, it is possible coupon stacking is one of the things costing them money. And for example for things like CVS glitches where it would accept a CVS coupon (which can be manufacturer funded) and a manufacturer coupon on the same item, could be losing them a lot of money.
And you know RA is losing a ton of money with all the people rolling BC.
-
RE: Retailers are losing $100 billion a year from return fraud, bots and coupon stacking, study says
For the last three years, Robert has used a different email address to take advantage of a Black Friday Hulu promotion that most recently offered new customers a yearlong subscription for just $1.99 a month instead of the usual $7.99 monthly cost.
Why are they giving away my secrets
In another case, a top pet supply company based in the U.S. lost $3.5 million in the first quarter of 2023 alone after a small group of serial fraudsters exploited a promotion code for a 35% to 50% off discount.
Wonder if this was Pet Supplies Plus? They had 5 digit codes with nice discounts that were easily foundable online, but earlier this year switched to one time longer codes that are one time use.

RE: Rite Aid - Earn $6Bonus Cash wys $20 in store (stacks with weekly sale offers) Limit one use per account
@mistercheap Oh yes, I guess I screwed up my transactions this weekend - You only need to be over $15 after manufacturer’s coupons for the $5 off $15 to work, but over $20 before any coupons for the $6 in BC coupon to work.
-
RE: Rite Aid - Earn $6Bonus Cash wys $20 in store (stacks with weekly sale offers) Limit one use per account
@mistercheap don’t forget to combine with the $5 off. Also good deal with the colgate buy 2 for $3.99 each get $7 back limit 2. Get 4 colgate, clip $1 coupon (maybe get some IP). Make sure total is over $20 after MC, use $6 coupon above and $5 off $15 for a MM. Summer stuff is 90% off now and could be a good filler. Fans 75% off.

@dangeruss said in RITE AID filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy IMMINENT:
@mistercheap someone said this is just restructuring to deal with the opioid liabilities
closing 450 stores is not restructuring from where we as deal seekers stand. no where to shop.
PS, look for them to cut costs like crazy too, including a lot of the deals we’ve been spoiled by IMO. 450 stores represents over 20% of stores, some areas I’m sure will no longer have an RA close by.
That’s less than 1/5th. Even around here that’s not going to make a huge dent.
