I thought I did the same one time, turns out I depleted all my No Rush Reward balance. While technically “free”, it did wipe out all my accrued rewards. I did test this just now and it did the same thing, had $20+ in rewards saved up and it used them up for this purchase and said “Promotion” in my digital orders receipt (I cancelled the order immediately after to refund the balance without issue). Just a heads-up to anyone who might try this.

you are right and waiting to talk to someone to get the credit back. blehh.
thank you for letting me know!

@midori did you get the credit back as no rush credit?
i chatted with 2 people and one over the phone and they all said can’t refund promo credit. phone rep gave me the amount as another kind of promo credit but could do for just one. so now we own frozen 2. yay

@krazy9katz Hmm, I kept up the web tab with the option to Cancel my order, then checked to see how I was charged. When I saw it took my promo credits, I clicked the Cancel button and checked again and my No Rush Promo credits were back the way they had been I seem to recall running into this issue before and I think they were able to re-issue them just fine, so maybe you’re just getting lousy support people! Always a coin toss these days, though lately I’ve had good luck with them.

@midori glad that you didn’t get into this mess when you tried it. their CSR used to be great. they could fix anything. but not so much lately. like they come half way and not all the way. i guess that’s mostly amazon’s policy change and not quality of CSR.
