I’d rather have the J7 Pro, but the J3 Pro at this price seems good. Thoughts?
There are a few deals on HSN with which I could use the MasterPass discount, but the phones seems to suck.
I currently have a Galaxy S4, but the battery is dying. I need a year of service on November 18th, or sooner.
I’f you are talking about the MasterPass deal I posted above, that has expired… or is there a new deal?
Why not just buy a $7 - $10 OEM replacement battery for your S4 on Amazon or eay?
Oh…that’s only good for certain deals? Darn. I didn’t know that was how it worked.
As for the battery, the whole phone is starting to show its age. So…$10 for a battery, $100 for a years service…or, a new phone, with battery AND a years service for $100 (or, hopefully, less if a deal can be found).
Does that answer your questions?
After your post, I looked around and there seems to be another code out there for $20 off $40 (187109) off but I haven’t found the terms yet (MasterPass is still only listing the expired deal on their site). I’ll create separate thread for the new code.
OK, I found the T&Cs for the new $20 off $40 at HSN with MasterPass checkout deal and posted a new thread here. The terms are essentially the same as last time and should work on the J3 Pro… I’ll leave it to others to advise whether the deal on that model is good since I don’t know.
Well there’s hope… there’s a new trimmer K cup display with larger boxes on it. Appears they’re getting rid of the mid-size boxes (18 ct) which consumers didn’t recognize are larger than supermarket package (10).
@itsfriday Thanks! One available, and I got it. Hope it doesn’t get cancelled.
You should be fine, I got 1 of these rooster rugs for $4 a month ago, and I got 2 coffee rugs for $2/each. Usually Lowes ships the item from a store near you, and according to my spreadsheet there are 596 in stock in stores, so I think you’ll be fine.
In Mike Pence’s world, women would be bare foot and pregnant. There would be no work place issues.
I wonder how many employers are now weighing a potential #metoo issue when interviewing candidates? (They’re not going to express that of course.) Do I drop a lone woman into that team of 10 male coders, or do I cover my ass and pick the equally capable man?
@pricelessprice I just got an OBC a couple months ago. You have to find the secret link and it is good for $50k in spending at 5%, after you first qualify by having $6500 in spending at 0.5% for the non bonused categories or 1% for the bonused ones. Unfortunately I got it right as the PO MO shut down.
****I took your advice very seriously and opted to sell my TRU gc on the Bay.
Had 6 $25 gc. Listed 2 sets of 3 ($75 ea) for $66 ea. Most listings gave 10% discount, ie $22.50 for $25 gc. It was worth $1.50 to ship 3 at once vs. 3 separately, ie $66 vs. $67.50
I copied a listing where seller posted “gift cards will be shipped 2 business days after payment to avoid fraudulent charges”.
I photographed the back sides of the cards showing silver on the PINS had not been removed.
I photocopied receipts showing cards had been activated and enclosed copy w/ the cards.
I created shipping label immediately so qualified for TRS discount, but chose mailing date 2 days later. I offered refund if cards were returned with PIN’s still hidden and funds present.
I also really lucked out. One buyer bought both sets a few hours after I listed.
I checked him out. He had >3000 positive feedback. He’d bought a lot of TRU gc from other sellers and they’d all left him positive FB. He sells high priced Lego sets.
Raise was offering $18 for $25 gc plus I would have paid to ship cards to an online seller.
After shipping, fees and 10% TRS discount I made $18.75/card but I have the money and +FB.
@my4mainecoons … no refunds. scammers have machines that put that silver strip on the back. so somebody might get the cards info. return them … wait for it to sell to somebody else … drain the card.
Better safe than sorry
I see I got my extra $10 in SYWR points, along with a couple of nice Freecash offers at Sears
($15 on bedding, bath or small kitchen appliance purchase of $15 or more, $15 on sporting goods purchase of $20 or more.)
It’s a mystery to me just how long they can keep this up!
Sooner or later, they have to lose surface tension and just go under…
@ed243 yeah, we’re also generous tippers because our kids used to work their tail off in restaurants so we know how overworked they are. They did this since high school and college. I have a lot of respect and awe for people who do this kind of work and are able to maintain good grades!
This was moved a little prematurely to expired threads. The deal is still live for a few more hours on the West coast, but I can see on the East coast it’s expired already and you happen to be on the East coast.
@MrVietnam yes I was trying to clean up the drug forum some, a lot of thread clutter in general (not this post) but it was expired about 730pm pt, so I don’t think too much damage was caused since most had finished up the deals for the week ending 5/19.
Technically not just for a CD, but Ally’s offering an extra 1% on a CD, savings, or checking account if you put new money in by Oct. 31. Have to sign up for it by 10/21 and add funds by the end of this month. Have to leave funds there until 1/15/2019. Should get your bonus by 2/15/2019.
It looks like if you open a CD for a year you’d get their 2.5% rate plus an extra 1% so (if I understand it right), you’d get 3.5% for a year.

This is not my thread, but it was created before MisterCheap’s thread so I am posting to it. I am not sure why MisterCheap made a new Rite Aid Black Friday thread when fivetalents already created one 9 days ago.
