Update: I used code “chaj5196” and I think it is one time use, but here are two more codes that are also probably one time use “nmfc6746” or "gdnu9119. So I was hoping I had a code for everyone but it turns out I only have 2. Enjoy
z90.3 code for free passes to an advanced screening of "Annihilation" at Edwards Mira Mesa on February 21st at 7 pm. Limited passes, use code "chaj5196" at gofobo.com.
Tip: once you have passes, it is a first come first served event and they often turn people away. Get in line at least an hour before the show time, they start letting people in to the show 30 minutes before. As fast as you can find your seats, they go fast and you may have to sit separately in single seats or together up front. Oh, the seats that say "reserved for press or VIP", you can sit in any of those open seats 10 minutes before the show starts.

In Mike Pence’s world, women would be bare foot and pregnant. There would be no work place issues.
I wonder how many employers are now weighing a potential #metoo issue when interviewing candidates? (They’re not going to express that of course.) Do I drop a lone woman into that team of 10 male coders, or do I cover my ass and pick the equally capable man?
@pricelessprice I just got an OBC a couple months ago. You have to find the secret link and it is good for $50k in spending at 5%, after you first qualify by having $6500 in spending at 0.5% for the non bonused categories or 1% for the bonused ones. Unfortunately I got it right as the PO MO shut down.
I got what looks to be a targeted offer for an Amazon gift card.
"Just for you: Bring the silver screen home with a complimentary Amazon.com Gift Card to use for a $3.99 movie rental on Amazon Video. To participate, enter 25 Product Codes between 2/1 and 2/28 on any offer on Coke.com.
Here’s how it works:
Enter 25 Product Codes on any of your favorite offers on Coke.com between 2/1 and 2/28.
On 3/2 you’ll be notified and the reward will be tagged in your reward profile.
Enjoy your movie night!
Must have Coca-Cola account, and be invited by Sponsor to participate, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Ends 2/28/18. YOU MUST CLAIM THE REWARD BY 3/9/18 OR YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THE REWARD. For full T&Cs & all details, visit here. Sponsor: The Coca-Cola Company. Restrictions apply, see amazon.com/gc-legal. "
Could someone let us know if it is a 3.99 amazon Gift card - or an amazon promo that is only good for the movie. I’d do 25 caps for a 3.99 gift card, but I really don’t need a free movie. Thanks!
From the Terms and Conditions:
“You must have an Account before the start of the Offer, and Sponsor must select and invite you to participate in this Offer. Your invitation may be via email or you may just see the tile when you log in to your Account. ****I took your advice very seriously and opted to sell my TRU gc on the Bay.
Had 6 $25 gc. Listed 2 sets of 3 ($75 ea) for $66 ea. Most listings gave 10% discount, ie $22.50 for $25 gc. It was worth $1.50 to ship 3 at once vs. 3 separately, ie $66 vs. $67.50
I copied a listing where seller posted “gift cards will be shipped 2 business days after payment to avoid fraudulent charges”.
I photographed the back sides of the cards showing silver on the PINS had not been removed.
I photocopied receipts showing cards had been activated and enclosed copy w/ the cards.
I created shipping label immediately so qualified for TRS discount, but chose mailing date 2 days later. I offered refund if cards were returned with PIN’s still hidden and funds present.
I also really lucked out. One buyer bought both sets a few hours after I listed.
I checked him out. He had >3000 positive feedback. He’d bought a lot of TRU gc from other sellers and they’d all left him positive FB. He sells high priced Lego sets.
Raise was offering $18 for $25 gc plus I would have paid to ship cards to an online seller.
After shipping, fees and 10% TRS discount I made $18.75/card but I have the money and +FB.
@my4mainecoons … no refunds. scammers have machines that put that silver strip on the back. so somebody might get the cards info. return them … wait for it to sell to somebody else … drain the card.
Better safe than sorry
I see I got my extra $10 in SYWR points, along with a couple of nice Freecash offers at Sears
($15 on bedding, bath or small kitchen appliance purchase of $15 or more, $15 on sporting goods purchase of $20 or more.)
It’s a mystery to me just how long they can keep this up!
Sooner or later, they have to lose surface tension and just go under…
@fivetalents oopsy sorry. i didn’t mean that you as you personally but any of you swaggers out there. been busy swagging and team challenge is almost over. but i believe “you” can still join. got 7162 points so far and i feel i have contributed.
@ed243 yeah, we’re also generous tippers because our kids used to work their tail off in restaurants so we know how overworked they are. They did this since high school and college. I have a lot of respect and awe for people who do this kind of work and are able to maintain good grades!
This is not my thread, but it was created before MisterCheap’s thread so I am posting to it. I am not sure why MisterCheap made a new Rite Aid Black Friday thread when fivetalents already created one 9 days ago.
Looks like the party’s over on this one. I tried to do the same thing (order 8 unsalted) and it’s now showing “maximum quantity: 2”.
That’s odd. I was just able to add 10 of the unsalted to my cart and they remained even on the secure checkout screen. Same thing for the 14oz cashew halves and pieces.
You’re right, I was able to add 8 to my cart just now. But it won’t accept my $10 off code.
At the risk of sounding thick as a brick, does it mean $10 off after you place 3 orders, or $10 off EACH of your first 3 orders?
To get $10 off it has to be your first order from Jet ( i.e. $10 off EACH of your first 3 orders starting with first order).
I was able to use the code only after opening another account in a family member’s name.
IRS says many who prepaid property taxes may still face cap on deductions
Not surprised - those were kind of the rules before and IRS and is just clarifying the rules. Even before this hysteria started, you were always allowed to fudge on the payment for a bill received - e.g. pay billed 2018 property tax in 2017, pay spring semester tuition in Dec, early payment of Jan mortgage. All this existed before and was all kosher.
It is amazing to see how many people (including people with 500K income) have absolutely no clue about the tax system and they are leaping to do stupid things/following their neighbors and friends like lemmings and then asking questions. I had one person asking me if he should be prepaying the property taxes when he is squarely in the AMT region and he had already paid it. And then there are people who want to pay mortgage for the next 3 years.
