I’ll wait until the charge posts on my American Express blue every day card and then wait a few more days to see if the five dollar credit gets posted by American Express or not. I wonder if the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited, NFL Premium package which is $48.99/mo. would even qualify for the $7/mo. because 6% of that is only $3.

The Blue Cash Preferred card specifically says that one earns 6% back. That’s the same % back as for groceries. The Blue Cash Everyday earns 3% back on groceries so that’s why I suspect one would earn 3% back for Disney+.

I missed the part when it said up to $7. So I will try it for a month and if I don’t get the $4.99 credit I will just cancel. It would be pretty sweet if it works and I get the Black Friday deal free for a year.

I just enrolled in the Am Ex offer and I got an e-mail that says I am enrolled, but since it says it could take up to 24 hours to activate my enrollment. I will just give it another day before signing up for the Black Friday offer just to make sure.

If I didn’t have a small moving box of assorted batteries already sitting in my garage, I would be all over this deal.

Why would one not receive $7 back per month as a statement credit on the bundle as is advertised? I wasn’t planning on signing up, but I think I will sign up and use my Am Ex Blue cash card as payment for the $4.99 and see if it turns out to be a $2.01 MM each month for a year. If after the first month I don’t get my $7 credit back from Am Ex I will just cancel. No big loss.

I don’t remember exactly but I’m pretty sure last year’s deal was $2.99 for both. Looks like they increased the price two dollars a month this year.

I’m not sure what ad you’re looking at, but I’m looking at the black Friday ad on their website and at the bottom of the ad. It says that in store deals are valid November 28 through November 29, 2025, and the paper towels and toilet paper deal from Scott says it’s valid through December 27, 2025, but according to the ad evidently it doesn’t start until Black Friday. It’s not that much of a deal so nothing to get terribly excited about either way…
