Just recycled for August. Limit for 500 points a cartridge remains at 6. Plus I recycled one alkaline battery for another 500 points, for a total monthly windfall of $17.50.

RE: Burger King - Cloud Float app game through 8/7 - Win Crowns or other prizes
@mistercheap said in Burger King - Cloud Float app game through 8/7 - Win Crowns or other prizes:
@yoregano Been doing okay on it, best prize 50 crowns, about 50/50 on wins between crowns/food, mostly 25. Food prizes mainly drinks or frozen drinks. I never mess with those.
Not happy about them changing the free fries offer to a $3 min spend. There goes my hack of redeeming 750 for a free whopper, adding $1 of extra toppings on it and qualifying for the fries to make it a nice meal.
McDonald’s offers a $1.69 large fries daily with digital coupon.

These 7NowApp deals are good as long as you agree with the fees and tax charged before you place your order. I was overcharged a couple dollars in tax and still placed my order thinking I could contact customer service after the order and they would make it right. They did not and were adamant the tax charged was correct (which it wasn’t unless I had a 20% tax rate, which I don’t here). I had to make several calls and wasted a lot of time and energy to learn this simple lesson.
dispute the overcharge amt on your credit card next time.
I thought about doing that, but ehen dispute a charge on your credit card you have to dispute the entire charge not just a couple dollars… it’s much easier to agree with the charges before you place the order and if you don’t feel the correct then just abort the order that way there’s no trouble afterwards.

RE: Ibotta $4.49 fixed rebate wyb 1 Stur Liquid Enhancer, any variety, any size at Vons (but also good at any Albertsons family store). $3 each at Vons, so a $1.49 MM at Vons at least.
This free after rebate offer at Vons has been resetting for me for the third time now. It’s on sale for three dollars at Vons so every time I buy it I make $1.49. It’s rare that you see these free after rebate offers reset so many times usually it’s one and done.

@mrvietnam I don’t watch most of it, there’s nothing to interest me, except Downton Abbey a New Era! I’ll wait til theirs a new offer! A month now, into my free 3 month offer!
Same here. I only get it if there is a free trial and even then I rarely watch it. Not worth paying for.

RE: Peacock New Subscribers: 3-Month Peacock Premium Trial, for Free
I heard Peacock is raising their price by three dollars soon and it will become the most expensive streaming service.
From Google AI:
Peacock is raising its subscription prices by $3 per month for both its Premium (ad-supported) and Premium Plus (mostly ad-free) tiers.
The new monthly prices will be:
Peacock Premium: $10.99 (up from $7.99)
Peacock Premium Plus: $16.99 (up from $13.99)
Annual plans will also see a corresponding increase, with Premium rising from $79.99 to $109.99 per year and Premium Plus increasing from $139.99 to $169.99 per year.
These changes take effect for new and returning subscribers on July 23, 2025. Existing subscribers will see the price increase applied to their billing cycle on or after August 22, 2025.
This marks the third time Peacock has raised its prices in three years. According to PCMag, the increases have grown by an extra dollar each year, starting with a $1 increase in 2023, then $2 in 2024, and now $3 in 2025.
