@mrvietnam You can’t use points online on grocery items anymore, but you can use them in-store on grocery items. Clearance is no problem. You can no longer use bonus points (i.e., large amounts of points earned from various promotions, as opposed to the base points earned from 1% of spend) at Hometown and Outlet stores.
Thanks so much. That information was very helpful. Today I plan to go out and get some Disney Cars for my 2 year old that are on clearance at K-mart and use my newly earned points.
"Stores will be closed on Thanksgiving. They will be opening stores at 7AM on Black Friday and the online sale will start online on Thanksgiving. This is a major change for them as they were open at 6PM on Thanksgiving last year. Doorbusters are valid through Saturday, November 25th. Doorbusters online starting on Thanksgiving through Saturday.
They will be offering up to 50% off appliances, up to 60% off tools and deals on home and garden items. Make sure you do your research before purchasing because a lot of these items are already on sale. Check out the DeWalt 20V Max Compact Brushless Drill/Driver Combo, it’s $99.99 in the ad and you can buy it online from Sears for the same price right now. The Craftsman 13-in. Tool Bag for $3.99 in the ad is also on sale for $3.99 right now. It’s easy to see “Doorbuster” and think it’s a good deal but we want to make sure that you are actually getting the best deals this season!"
I’ve been doing this for more than 2 years. It will be my 3rd Christmas
They recently added it to online but online can’t use Surprise Pts/Free Cash and I don’t trust they’ll send you gc.
With 100% back in pts deals you have to spend oop. Not my style.
BUT if I were to do that I’d be using my same Sears gc at KM.
I’d buy widget for $10, get 10k back in pts.
Then find a tool reg price $19.99, on sale for $9.99
Request to pay full price.
Pay $10 in points, $9.99 on gc, get back $11 on gc and sell the tool.
