AN ALERT TO EVERYONE.

I was at my closest RA store tonight to pick up an RX and to ‘case the joint’ for my Sunday run.

The soda stock was dismal, there was no 2L Diet, maybe 7 bottles of Pepsi and I didn’t see much else in the way of Pepsi brands. So getting 8 bottles are this store to ‘max’ out would be wiping out whatever they have, if there’s even 8 to get. Stock on 4 pack monster/Rbull was somewhat better, but my goal is to get the Pepsi deal FIRST to get $34 bonus cash up front.

I doubt I’ll have time to case any other RA’s tomorrow, so will play it safe and just hit one of my other stores early Sunday AM.

The shelves were as empty as ever, even most of the grocery aisle was a ghost town. It’s really shocking, I don’t know what anyone goes in there for other than RX’es these days. You’re hard pressed to find 60-75% of what they normally carry. Black Friday shopping at RA used to be one of the biggest scores and MM’s of the year, so many freebies and boosters.

One foot in the grave and one on the banana peel is what they should rename the stores.

Do they offer the discounted Visa/MC cards 1x a month like Swagbucks does?

@mistercheap I remember getting a gift card to ShopRite, about 7 years ago, and getting 20% off. I did this 3 times. I moved to CA about 6 years ago, and there is no ShopRite in CA.

I’m new to mypoints, I see reward redemptions require a lot more ‘my points’ than ‘swagbucks’. Ie, $25 visa is like 3750 points vs 2500 on Swag, so is there a benefit to belonging to both?

How does 18700 compare doing the same offer at Swag for 11000?

I found, least in my area in Southern California, often times Sam’s Club is cheaper than Costco gas.

My closest Sam’s doesn’t even have a gas station, total joke. Have Sam’s and BJ’s only close by, BJ’s does have gas. but still 30c a gallon more than in NJ, so I drive to NJ to fill up.

Look it up on gasbuddy or search gas prices in some of the cities you’ll be in. that will give you a better idea. if it’s 12-15c a gallon cheaper probably worth at least $5
