Had a very strange thing happen on Friday.
I had redeemed a $3 off produce rewards coupon. Acme had Vidalia onions on sale for 79c a lb w/digital. When I went to SCO to weigh and pay for onions had about just under 3 lbs in the bag for $2.10, The $3/3 applied itself against $2.10, screwing me out of 90c value on it. I had the attendant void the order and I just got more onions to get it over $3.
Now, I don’t know if this situation would occur on a $10/10 or the monthly $5/5 Fresh Pass. I used my FP $5 for Sep. but had bought more than $5 from the start so no way to know.
The attendant says she heard about them making a change on 9/1 to how the coupons come off but didn’t go into any detail.
So if you have a $10/10 clipped and you run in for a few items and your total is $5.70, just keep an eye on your total. They don’t seem to have a way to remove it from the order, not sure if you can ‘upclip’ a reward so it doesn’t apply itself to that order.
