Have these bags, use it for meat I cook, than I freeze it.
I use a straw on one end of the bag, and put it in the bag, to the bottom.
I seal it, but and leave the straw in. I suck out the air, and seal it.
First I remove the straw. Than I quickly seal it!
Its sort of a vacuum sealer, for the meat, without having to buy a vacuum sealer!
The bags have a double seal, and the bag is thick!

@marvomatic Put the bag with meat into a deep pan of water then use the straw. The water pressure will force out air up to the water line. Less sucking. 🙂
I freeze a lot of stuff so I use a FoodSaver. Pitted and froze fresh cherries yesterday. Today I’m freezing onions because they sprout before I use up the bag. Tomorrow I’ll be making & freezing cat food.
