TurboTax Has Me Waiting For A Form

Went to do my taxes and wanted to send it in as quickly as possible. So I decided to do them online to be faster than sending the forms via snail mail. I spent a few hours answering all the questions and just as I was about to finish a message came saying that they are waiting for a form from the IRS and they will email me when I can finish. They expect it will be in another eleven days. Funny thing is I can find the form on the IRS website. .

8606 IRA stuff. I’m sending via snail mail first thing Morning.

@redmed I use IRS free fillable forms. Form 1040 and the various schedules are up and running, but they posted that Form 8606 will not be available there for online filing until 2/8/18.
As you say, the 8606 is on the main IRS website for downloading, but the online filing version is not up yet.
