Sam's Club phasing out checkouts nationwide for AI shopping and Scan & Go

I for one welcome our AI overlords. AI checkout will be known as “Just Walk” / “Just Go” and Scan & Go is for those who wish to use the app to scan every item they put in their cart.

Both manned checkouts along with self-checkout stations will be eliminated.

I’m sure they’ll pass on the cost savings to consumers.
