This has been the most difficult account sign up ever.
After going around in circles on day #1 I contacted CS. They advised me to wait a few days to see if an account had been created then to call back.
I waited a week. Called CS. I have an account but they can’t authenticate it.
So I just finished uploading a request for them to create a bypass code.
That’s going to take another 3 business days after which I have to call them back.
Their Customer Service wait time is long because they’re having so many issues with these accounts.

@mtnagel Did you receive confirmation re: the $400 bonus? Only asking because CSR asked if I was trying to earn the bonus, noting that the system didn’t show that I was eligible up for it. So she marked my account as eligible.

Yes I got an email which was nice because most bank bonuses don’t let you know. It is weird that it says you can earn more by depositing more, but then only shows one tier.

@mtnagel I asked CSR and she confirmed that the $400 is the same whether you deposit $20K or $50K.
In marketing speak you earn more if you deposit more because you’re earning 4% on it.I recently completed a Chase $900 bonus and they showed what bonus you were eligible for, what the requirements were and that they’d been completed when you’d met them. I’ve never had that before. Emails would’ve been even nicer.
