On a general note, it can be helpful to make sure you’re not opted-out of receiving credit card offers. That way you can get offers for sign-up bonuses.

I regretted opting out via OptOutPrescreen.com after reading of the sign-up bonus people were getting for the Citi Dividend card. It’s easy to opt-in again. It may take awhile to start getting offers again, but they’ll come.

@frugalfreak to each their own. But I have to say that seems shortsighted, just to prove a point to a company that doesn’t care about you, or me, or us. But I get it…

I banned Rakuten the moment they bought FW… never posted any deals from them nor bought anything from them again. It was the most ridiculous thing I’d ever heard of for a retailer to own an independent deal site. Pfft.

Well I must be a hardliner, I refuse to do cashback anywhere but Fatwallet, when it ended cashback I quit using cashback at all out of protest. Banning ebates IS same as banning rakuten, where do you think that money goes? I can’t bring myself to profit them.
