The coupon says $40 off and “one time use only”. Nowhere does it says $40 off in store AND $40 off online. I think it’s pretty clear it’s only meant to be used once. I do think it’s bizarre that a company as big as Target hasn’t figured out how to stop it. With that said, I think it’s unethical, but I still used both of our coupons twice.

@mtnagel, The last time I had a New Debt card was two years ago. I received a $40 certificate it said: Valid for a single use in stores or online. I used it to make a purchase of over $40. Do you mean you can use the $40 off for several purchases? You were not clear in your statement: “FYI, the coupon can be used in store by scanning the bar code and online by typing in the promo code. Sorry, you’re right I wasn’t clear. You can use it twice to save a total of $80. Once online and once in stores.
