Bad News Citi Forward changing to Thank you Preferred 1/18. Good news $50 statement credit for $500 spend by 4/30/18. YMMV.

I received a mailer for this offer. It is a sock drawer card as a Thank You preferred card with 2X points for dining and entertainment and 1X points for everything else. It can’t really do anything more that a Citi double cash card can do, but the $50 statement credit for $500 spend will be a good incentive to use it.
