A settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit about whether Uber Technologies, Inc. and Rasier, LLC (collectively, “Uber” or Defendants) made misrepresentations about the “Safe Rides Fee,” safety measures, and the background check process for potential drivers… The Settlement includes all persons who, from January 1, 2013 to January 31, 2016, used the Uber App or website to obtain service from one of the Uber Ride Services With A Safe Rides Fee in the United States or its territories.
