This is kinda weird…once or twice a week, on the 8:30 98.1 Call-In, the “producer” answers the phone, tells me to hang on a minute…I’m listening to the broadcast over the phone, then he gets back on and tells me, “Thank You, but Sara has already got our winner”…I know Sara thinks I win too much…But what is the point of picking up the line and putting me on hold?? IF I’m Not the Winner, Shouldn’t he say, “Sunny 98.1, Thanks for Trying” and be Done? Does he have to run the name by Sara, first…before he can tell the person they are the winning caller??----I Think I’m going to Call-in using *67 so my caller ID says, “Unavailable” Sounds like the Winning callers are being “screened”!! Before they got Caller ID …he used to ask me my name, then put me on Hold. It’s almost .like, “Right Number, Wrong Name”–Just seems ODD!
