Instant Verification is much faster. And they don’t store your username and password. They use a different company called Plaid.com to do bank verification. Totally legit

This company Checkbook is legit and I’m going the Instant Deposit way. It’s much quicker and easier. If you make a mistake in entering your account number you loose the money. With Instant verification there is no possibility of errors since they get the bank account number directly from the bank.
As far as the user name and password - I checked their app - they use a company called Plaid to do bank verification. Plaid is multibillion company with connections to all the banks in the US with security tighter than most banks. So it’s safer than the banks itself. I like that I don’t have to wait for a paper check try multiple times taking pictures and then wait another 2-3 days for the money to come in. Online is the way of the future and I’m in.
