Does it say anything about tech recycling ($5/mo) changing? Or just cartridges?

Has TCB been tracking correctly for you all? My last 2 Walgreens purchases in the past couple months have not tracked, and I pretty much gave up on them. I’ve gone back to Rakuten which tracks every time but is lower %.

@c3 I got my $5 on 12/14 for Nov’s tech recycling (broken cable). I recycled another broken earbud the same day for Dec’s.

Hope they don’t get rid of the tech recycling. Easy $5/mo for bringing in broken earbuds.

Still working. I finally decided to use it on packaged nuts that qualified for shipping to the Locker. I also did Subscribe & Save to get % off, and immediately got an email with Shipping address error because it can’t ship Sub & Save to Lockers. I changed the addr to my home address - hope that applies to the future order, not this one that I hope will be shipped to the Locker. Will set a reminder to cancel the Sub & Save later…

@mistercheap Yes the item (cell phone) is Shipped & Sold by Amazon, hence the $10/25 coming off. I added a phone case that is slightly above $25 and also Shipped & Sold by Amazon, and get the $10 discount even though the total is under $25. I see the option to Ship to Locker on the case (so free shipping), whereas it showed “Shipping” for the phone and the $5.99 charge.

The only thing I can think of is the phone is not allowed to be shipped to Locker, so if I pick Locker, it’s charging me to ship to Home. I suppose if would be the same if you pick a really large item that doesn’t fit in a Locker.

Well, doesn’t matter now because I noticed when I added my item that qualifies for the $10/25 to Locker, I do get the $10 discount, however it’s charging me $5.99 shipping. I can’t get rid of the shipping charge unless I change the shipping address to Home, which of course removes the $10 discount. Oh well, I guess my item doesn’t qualify for Locker, and I’ll have to find something else that does.

Anyone (non Prime) know if you still get offer for Free Shipping for next 24 hrs if you do the Locker Pickup?

I’d like to split up my order to ship only one item to the Locker to use up this promo and place another order (under free ship threshold) to ship to my home right afterwards.

Worked for me! I did this before too, maybe last year or the year before.

Fred Meyer / QFC has a $2 DQ for the 4oz that is currently on sale for $4.79. So I got that because it’s actually cheaper than the 2oz with the DQ. $2.79+tax = $3.07 total. Submitted the receipt yesterday and got the $10 reward this morning!

So I’ve been doing the Daily spin for the past week just to see what it pays out. 50, 100, 250, 25, 15, 10, and 5 today. I see a trend and think it might be pre-determined. I’ll report back what I get tomorrow and might re-evaluate whether it’s worth it to do this daily.

Sucks but I only really scan when they give bonuses for scanning a receipt. So I only have 1800 pts. Thanks for pointing out there is a daily spin game-didn’t know that. Only won 50pts on my first spin but I guess I’ll add this app to my daily receipt scanning to see if I can win more.

That sucks. I don’t mind the minimum purchase requirement because I’d order for the whole family using one account but I like the to-go option because you can request ‘extra fries’ for each entree. If you dine-in, it’s very difficult for us to get that many fries refills because it’s hard to flag them down.

I have ~$300 in my RMN account that I can’t cash out because they require sending a text message to your phone to confirm your identity and I don’t have a cell phone. I contacted them about it and they told me to have a friend do it for me. Not helpful.

If RMN will accept VOIP, you can try Google Voice or one of those free ‘temporary phone # for text verifications’ found on the web.
If they require a real cell phone #, then you can buy access to one for a few bucks online. I know it sucks to have to pay for this but at least you’ll get your $300.

@vegasvegan Yes I’ve done Amazon/Citi offers (as well as Chase, Discover) before and usually delete the credit cards as soon as I redeem the offers. I haven’t done Citi recently so it definitely wasn’t on my account after 8/14.

I didn’t find this at Fred Meyer but did locate it at QFC. Free coupons no longer scan at FM/QFC Self-Checkouts and they have to transfer the transaction to a front station that can sometimes get it to work. For whatever reason, they couldn’t get it to work there either for this coupon, so they voided the chocolate so that I could pay for the rest of my stuff, and they rang up the chocolate by itself at a normal register, the free coupon scanned with no problem.

EDIT: There is option for a phone call to get the PIN so I gave my landline that gets all the spam calls. I am able to print the coupon after that. Looks like Kroger carries this.

I used mine on stuff in clearance which is not excluded. Found a 3M drywall patch kit for $1.46 (reg. $6), small toy for $0.46 (reg $3?), and a couple Mead folders that were on sale ‘manager’s special’ for half-off.

My code starts with 20793. Haven’t tried yet but probably a $5. What does yours start with?

@mrsguin Thanks for your post. Had never heard of the Fetch app. Signed up using your referral code and scanned a bunch of old receipts. I’m above 5000 pts but it says I need to wait 24 hours to redeem for a Target GC. We’ll see tomorrow if it lets me redeem.

I have a couple apps installed on my phone to check all the barcodes I print out to make sure they at least readable by my phone. QR codes, standard barcodes, extended barcodes, etc., there are many apps to scan these, and I had to try lots of them to figure out which apps worked best for my phone’s camera.

@my4mainecoons Sure if you can find a $1 item. With all the buy/returns, you then have to worry about Best Buy banning you from returning items, even if you have the receipt. See here:

Maybe wait until you can get to a state with a high cashout threshhold, like California’s $9.99, and do the buy/return process there.

I’m glad I saw this here on Monday. I went right away and was able to use my Reward Certificate to buy a Brinker gc, but the system denied my $10 Best Buy gc. They said it disallowed it starting last week, like you posted.

So I go over to Customer Service and explained to them how I just tried to use the $10 BB GC to buy the Brinker gc, but got denied. So I confirmed with them that GC amounts under $5 could be cashed out (state law). She looked it up on her computer and confirmed it. So I said I would be back shortly with a couple $3 items and do the buy/return process to cash out the entire $10, she agreed.

I find a couple items, and she says the manager told her to just cash out the entire $10 gc for me. Took her a little while to do it because the system wouldn’t allow it all at once, she had to buy 2 - $5 Best buy gc then cash them out. I didn’t really ask for details. So I got my $10 cash.

She could see the cashout policy for all 50 states, and told me California allows cashouts of gc amount $9.99 or less, and some allow no cashout at all. Good to know.

Thanks. I found it for Fred Meyer under Dairy but it says “Coupon cannot be loaded” when I hit Load.

The link worked after changing the last 6 digits to something else. It does seem to pre-poplulate the address to someone else’s address no matter what 6 digits I enter, but I got the points anyway. Thanks OP!
