ORDER > MENU > Brewed Coffee > (make your choice of flavor) > (Under ‘Size’, default is Grande [tricky Starbucks]), click on ‘Grande’ > that submenu opens up and you SHOULD see “Short” option on the far left > select ‘Short’ > popup says 'Change Size?.." > select ‘Continue’ to acknowledge you want a Short size > (add any other options you want) > click green ‘Add item’ button when you’re done.
Tried looking for the option myself, to no avail…I posted a deal that expired and was looking for the ‘report dead deal’ button/menu option and couldn’t find one. So I just deleted the entire post.
Is there a ‘report expired deal’ option available to OP’ers that I just couldn’t see? TIA.

UPDATE: Yes, this is what happened. My submission to the CSR system got a reply of (paraphrasing) “Sorry this happened but please be patient and wait 24hrs. You can call us at this number if you have further questions…”
Just checked the website and my Bingo card is completed now! 
Update, followed redbeard25’s timeline all weekend and got credits very soon after purchase.
To ‘test the system’ I actually did order a banana this morning via the app to fulfill the final ‘Monday Funday’ slot…IT STILL HASN’T CREDITED.
I re-read the fine print at the bottom of the bingo card and all it says is that alcohol and gift cards don’t earn stars. So I should have a case, IMO.
So I just submitted a customer serv. query about missing stars to Starbucks customer service. Felt kinda petty quibbling about a $1 banana, but it’s kinda slow at work today…I’ll update when I hear back from them.
@redbeard25 Have you ever tried buying something ultracheap? I think they sell bananas for 90 cents at my local SBUX. I’d rather have that than a short coffee for $2.
Not redbeard25, but at my local store it looks like I can order a banana through the app, which should fulfill every part of redbeard’s timeline except the ‘Friday between 12:01 and 2:00’ slot, that requires over $8…Although, I guess you could order ~8 bananas!

I Googled with a filter of ‘posted in past 24 hours’ and found…
To get it to work on my browser:
1)Open a new tab and sign into account at starbucks.com
2)Open the link I provided above
3)get a page with Starbucks Bingo and a ‘Sign In’ button
4)click the button and page refreshes with the bingo board (If I recall, you may see a ‘do you want to opt-in’ query prior to seeing the bingo board).
EDIT (10/13): Looks like it works more directly with my link. Just sign-in via the link and it will refresh to the bingo page after sign-in.
