Saw this pop up on the news - a bank of out WI is offering a coin buyback program because of the coin shortage. For local people, this might be of interest.

If anyone is aware of other banks and/or credit unions in the US offering something similar, it might be of interest to others as well.

(WI only?) - Community State Bank $5 bonus for every $100 in coin, bank and non-bank customers, up to $500.

As college campuses close and institutions move to online learning to combat the spread of coronavirus, U-Haul is stepping in to help college students affected in the U.S. and Canada.

The company is offering 30 days of free self-storage at U-Haul owned and operated facilities to help students.

The free month applies to new customers with college IDs and is a limited-time offer subject to availability.

“We don’t know how every student is affected. But we know they are affected,” said John “JT” Taylor, U-Haul’s president.

The 30 days free offer is typically extended to communities impacted by a natural disaster.
