If you want my unsolicited opinion, one thing that might help with this kind of situation is implementing a mod-review system. If a member doesn’t agree with the mod’s decision, then the member can ask for another mod to review the situation. The second mod might uphold the previous mod’s decision, or overturn it. This can help prevent ideological or personality conflicts from skewing moderation. If the decision is upheld, then the member knows that it isn’t personal. If the decision is overturned, then the mod may need to rethink how they are making decisions. Sometimes we humans simply can’t see how we might not be as right as we think we are, and that outside perspective can help ground us a bit better.

I totally forgot about this. Thanks! Now I can see some football, even though I don’t get normal TV.
