Apparently, the consensus is that we’re allowed to start talking about “the holidays” on October 1st now. In my defense, I did wait a day, LOL.
Actually, I’m really curious to see how this Black Friday will play out given a number of factors like the largest competitor (Amazon) raising it’s minimum wage to $15/hour, the trade tariffs on China (I doubt all retailers were able to stockpile enough quantities of all products before the price hike), so many brands closing B&M locations, retailers having difficulty filling seasonal job openings, Toys R Us going defunct, etc. I personally don’t plan to shop much, but it will be interesting to observe.
ETA: and increased shipping prices are now another concern.
