@dstall63 I know I’m “dead” on 98.1 with AJ & Sara …I’ve been Denied too many times…Guy say’s I’m the Winning Caller …tells Sara the Name …and Suddenly…Sara already Has the Winner…and 933 and the Constant “Hey, What’s you name & Where are You calling From (WINNER Caller 9 ) --OH, Sorry Bro–You’re only Caller #8…It Was SO Sweet to Bust Him on That when He called Me Caller 8 on the Previous Line and I said, “AGAIN??”…he responds–“YEP!” , Next Line–does the “Hey What’s Your Name…” I Asked, Do You have the Winner, yet??” he says, “NO” …I say my Name and The old…“Sorry. @ronzilla Ooh, that is a cruddy story, remember reading it a while back and thinking they are totally singling you out. On the contests where they call a name out and you have so much time to call back, I have not heard any of our names lately. I bet we got on a secret “do not call out this name” list because we already won. But I guess that is fair, the radio station needs to spread the wins around to all their listeners but you and I religiously listen for the TAD and that would suck if we are out of the running. Anyways, good luck to you, maybe typing this will make you today’s TAD name! (Even though I don’t think you want Ensenada). Good luck!

We try not to flaunt our winnings as much as possible, especially to the radio employees. Even though it’s not their money, it’s understandably easy for them to think of the prizes as theirs after doing it for a while. And the station makes more money in the end if a larger range of listeners win prizes since then they’ll likely have more individual listeners. If ronzilla or any of us win over and over, they lost the opportunity to snag a loyal listener who got discouraged by not winning.
Sooooo I get where they come from kinda, but they shouldn’t discriminate if they recognize your voice. We have definitely been “caller 8” before with Ethan Cole too.

@glorypants But the Stations Want you to Post Your Wins on Social Media (Entercom has Printed Instructions on That in the Seaworld , Magic Mountain and Disney Packs) So having Wins, they Want in some Ways to Promote them…It’s Certain DJs that are Making Independent Decisions to do this …for Personal reasons…More that Station Policy --I-Heart Front Desk Women are Always Glad to see me,Bob Buchmann & Coe Lewis are casual Friends -See them all the Time & Talk with them–Sat With Bob & His Wife KERI --many times and All the Entercom DJs talk to me…know me by name)…EXCEPT SARA!! Known Jack Taylor for over 6 years & we hangout, when he sees me at Events…same with Jeremy, Alyssa & Alexia—they even answer My Calls IF I Need a Name or Word Or just have Something to Say! —And They all have caller ID–Know it’s Me before picking Up<<<No Problems with Them!
