The was an interesting deal from last year, where various retailers bundled a free 55-sheet roll of Scott blue shop towels (sort of a super-duty paper towel) with 5 quart jugs of Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic motor oil.
Looks like Walmart is participating this time around, and of course, the $10 rebate is still active.

Please note that store pickup is not available, but shipping is free with an order over $35. So quantity two will ship free, and that happens to be the maximum for the rebate as well.

@CtCarl Is 2 the limit for the rebate? I asked the question in the other Pennzoil thread.
The form says the limit is $20 per household but the form only lets you mark off one item.
Have you submitted 2 forms for 2 rebates? thanks

That’s a great question. I didn’t even realize that when I submitted the form, there had been no place to specify the quantity purchased.
I checked the format and wording of the submission confirmation I received from this promotion against one I submitted in November of last year, and it’s all essentially identical.
It seems pretty clear that the promotion is intended to be $2 per quart on the specified products, up to a maximum of $20, the same as last year. Last time, I submitted one claim of my own and two for some non-tech-savvy friends. We all bought two 5 gallons jugs each, submitted one form and got our $20 rebates (two in the form of checks on one in the form of Shell gasoline credits).
If I had to guess I would say that their rebate fulfillment contractor bases the rebate amount on the POP, which I suppose they’re supposed to verify anyway.
I’ll update once I get my rebate, and the deal may still be live by then. But if you’d like to verify in the meantime, my suggestion would be to phone 866-707-6737 and ask.

@ctcarl So you checked off the box for the oil you purchased (which implies just one) and submitted receipt for 2 and they sent you $20? I might just do one per name/addy to play it safe.

Rebate check arrived today. $20 for one submission, with proof-of-purchase for two 5-quart jugs.

@ctcarl Thanks. Finally got around to ordering. Went through MyPoints for the first time although I’ve had an acct for ages. 8% covers sales tax.
