The 8-page, 106-item True Value Black Friday ad is out.
"Typically, the True Value Black Friday sale runs for multiple days leading up to Black Friday, and this year is no different. This sale begins November 12 and goes through November 25, so you’ll have a few days before Black Friday to get any deals you may want. Double-check with your local store for opening times, too.
For the umpteenth year in a row, the Milwaukee 18V Drill/Impact Driver Combo will be available for $149. It wasn’t a standout deal in 2017, and it certainly isn’t a good deal now. While shopping the True Value Black Friday sale, be sure to give this one a pass.
Some of the “deals” mentioned in the ad are even available right now. For example, the Stanley Fatmax Tape Measure Set for $20 is currently up for grabs. As a matter of fact, several of the best “discounts” found in this ad are either repeats from years past or they are available on and off throughout the year. That means if there’s something you see that you think may be wait-in-line worthy, you should check to see if you can’t just get it right now. As for us, while we’re excited to have another ad to peruse, we won’t be early-bird shopping at True Value on Black Friday 2018."

Even though this ad goes into effect soon on November 12th, remember that there is a coupon on page 3 for 50% off any one item $50 or less that is good from November 19th - 25th, so plan accordingly on pricier items.
