Is Walmart iPhone X BF ad a hoax?

Called 3-4 walmart stores around me in Seattle area and none of them carry iPhone X or even iPhone 8. One store even told me not to expect getting any iPhone X until post holidays. I even checked Walmart’s “iPhone X store finder” and called those stores. The stores said that they don’t even have iPhone 7, how can one expect to have iPhone X at all…

So, is Walmart’s $300 gift card for buying an iPhone X a hoax?

Where do you see $300 off the iPhone X? I only see “$300 Walmart gift card with select Apple devices” on page 10. That could mean any iPhone model and the X may not qualify for the offer at all. Also, if the X does qualify, it may be an online only offer.

$300 off does not seem outside of possibilities, I’m sure it will have contract requirements, and a $300 gift card is not really $300 off.
