Got my Monday email from Bee and it said to enter code “Valentines” and earn 500 points…
Says “please enter valid code”. No points…Although the Bee posted this on the SacBee Rewards Facebook page yesterday:
"Member Notice:
“If you were having issues entering the Monday Bonus Email Code earlier today, please try again. The issue has been addressed, and your points await!”
… Today I am getting an error message saying “You have already submitted Code.” But my activity history shows the last time I earned points for a Monday email code was on February 5.
I posted a reply on the Bee’s FB page indicating that I am not receiving points for “Valentines” (and neither are members of our group). Hopefully they respond – or at least fix the problem.

@kateivan The code apparently has not been fixed. It wouldn’t accept ‘Valentine’ for me.
Does anyone know how to delete the huge lists in ‘My Activities?’ Also, have you noticed how mixed up the dates are for points?
-
@karinjel reader quest and poll also not giving points
hardly if ever do I get points for the articles that i read this is NEVER going to be fixed and I think they did NOT care
-
@kateivan and @pumbug Same here. Has anyone actually kept track of their points vs what is shown? I did for a while and gave up the effort. My numbers did not jive with theirs.
-
@kateivan hope they reply to you since they are not to me or others I sent email stating IF I already got WHERE are the points asked them to check my account they will see that nothing is posted but that does not really matter because 3 times my name was posted as a winner and when I went to claim i was told it was a mistake MISTAKES are all that they do IF it means points or prizes BUT somehow they manage to get points used right every time
-
@vickib grand kids did wrote them down daily and after not getting prizes they were on winners list for and told it was a mistake getting nothing
than told they won by me when I was down at sacbee I asked them to check ALL of our accounts but NEVER got the emails so never knew they won they just stopped and gave up all together
-
I have been told that they see points that we do not see. I noticed my points are all jumbled. What I did today shows up as far back as 3 days ago. Seems Read Points are at least a day behind. Yeah… “We spoke, they listened” Ha!
-
@karinjel try VALENTINES

I wish the Bee would separate the “get points” and “redeemed points” histories into two separate pages, and otherwise make that area more user-friendly … for example, give users the ability to archive or even delete data as you suggest.
The date thing is just screwy. And it’s clear evidence that the site does not work correctly. If it can’t capture the date I did something, then how can I be sure it’s accurately recording points redeemed and earned?

I tried but gave up too. I feel as though they have no intention to fix the issue either.
Has anyone in this group won anything via the new site? (And actually received the prize?)

Well, isn’t that just … POINTLESS. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.) Why shouldn’t each user see ALL his or her points, both incoming and outgoing? Did the Bee look at how Bee Buzz Points was set up AT ALL? If they really wanted a good site, they would have put together a group of users (that’s us, their customers) to help with the requirements and help test as the project was in development.
My activity history does show what I did each day in reverse chronological order. Just the dates will be wrong.
This is everything I did today even though some give yesterday’s date:
02/13/2018 600 Reader Quest 2-13-18
02/13/2018 200 SacBee Rewards DAILY BONUS code word (Updated daily, 9 a.m.)- 200 Points

02/12/2018 500 Watch video
02/12/2018 500 Watch video
02/12/2018 500 Watch video
02/13/2018 500 facebook share article
02/13/2018 450 Read Articles
02/13/2018 300 Read ArticlesThe next entry in the list is yesterday’s Reader Quest (which I know is the last thing I did yesterday.) And I always “read” the articles first. @dynamiteGmother, double check your activity list to see if maybe you did actually get points but they are just showing under a wrong date. What works best for me is starting with “reading” articles. I click one, it opens in a new tab, I click back over to the “earn points” page to see the “you’ve earned points for reading an article” message is showing, then switch back to the article tab, scroll down the whole article as though I were “reading” it, make sure the tab has fully loaded, let any ad videos start playing, then close the article tab, click a new article, and start the process over again until I’ve maxed out at 5 articles. Then I share a 6th article on Facebook, “watch” the videos, do the daily poll and quiz, “play” the games, and then do other things until 9 a.m. when the Buzz Word goes live. Reader Quest is always last because that one doesn’t seem to go live before 9 a.m. (sometimes it’s right on time and others it’s not there until like 11 a.m.). I find this routine helps me know whether I’ve received all the points I should have.
Another enhancement I’d like to see: having a way to determine when your points are expiring. Another user mentioned this (can’t recall whether here or on FB.) The Triton/ClearChannel template used by Bee Buzz Points offered this feature. Maybe the Bee omitted it because they don’t want us to know when our oldest points would disappear?

The replies I typically get from the Bee on Facebook (if any at all) tell me to send my concerns to them via e-mail. My comments on their posts typically have more to do with spreading the word about problems to those users who are not on this PhatWallet page.
Yes, the rewards program is riddled with mistakes. And they do NOT even manage to get the “points redeemed” right every time. There was a period when the points would get subtracted but the activity page did NOT reflect the prize entries. Of course, that error is in their favor as well.
I’m going to keep on trucking though. And trying to be a squeaky wheel.

How frustrating! Wish I could help.
Short of visiting your home to check that a browser setting or something isn’t messing you up, the only suggestion I can offer is that you keep e-mailing the Bee. Good luck!
