Aven: Free $5 Weekly Starbucks Giftcard If You Have 700+ Vantage 4.0 Credit Score + Homeowerner
-
Need to give them last 4 of SSN and link a bank account. I got the gift card right away. Can get one today and seemingly one tomorrow. Sign up with a referral code and you get $5 which you can transfer to your bank and you get to spin a wheel to get more money, but I only got $1.
-
Before seeing your post, I signed up with a fellow DOC user’s code.
How quickly do they send the first SB GC ?

Can claim another $5 SB gift card today (actually went live at 11 pm EST last night).
-
Thanks! Used your referral code to get $5. Also got the $5 Starbucks email.
Somehow I screwed up the registration and did have to upload the driver’s license through withpersona. DOC website was helpful but I still messed up somewhere.I had to link my account with Plaid and then link it with Stripe to get the $5 payout. I accidentally added both checking & savings and I can’t tell which account it will go into since they both have the same acct #, oh well.
I spun the wheel and got $1 but don’t see that anywhere… mtnagel do you see it??
This promo may not be for the faint of heart lol.
PS. I was able to use GV phone # for everything (Aven, Plaid, Stripe). My referral code is LH255JM2NJ
if anyone else is brave enough to sign up for this.

As for the spinning, do you see it when you click “redeem balance” then “view payout history”? This is what I see:
-
@mtnagel
My credit isn’t locked. I think I screwed up somewhere and had to re-open the app before finishing the registration process so maybe that’s why.Overview shows $5 Balance and Payout History shows $5 Referree Pending and no mention of the $1 Spin to Win. Unless I screwed up the Wheel Spin thing too. Oh well. At least I got the Starbucks $5.
-
The app sucks. I still haven’t gotten the $5 Referral bonus in my bank account, and the app shows a blank page for “Payout history.” Never got the $1 Spin to Win to show up either. At least I got a couple Starbucks $5 so far and those showed up right away. As soon as they discontinue that, I’m disconnecting all my accounts and deleting the app.
Thanks for your screenshot above that shows their email address. I’ll put in on my calendar to contact them in a couple weeks for my $6 if it still doesn’t show up.

That’s crazy, but now that I checked, my payout history page is blank too now but I’ve had it load before. And I have gotten a deposit from the on Feb 5th, so 3 days after I signed up. I’m supposed to get more money, but that hasn’t been deposited yet. Hopefully at some point. I’d message them.
-
I was able to claim another $5 Starbucks today Saturday. Usually it’s Sunday evening. We’ll see if they’ll have another tomorrow night then.
Also, I did email them about my missing $5 referral + $1 spin. Never got a response but Payout history shows $5 paid out yesterday so hopefully I’ll see this in my bank soon. No $1 for the spin I guess.

I was able to claim another Starbucks gift card today as well. Mine says I can claim another in 6 days so I assume I won’t get another tonight/tomorrow.
I also emailed them and got no response. My payout history now loads and says paid out on Feb 21 but haven’t actually gotten the deposit in my account.

Just checked Aven again and it says next SB $5 will be available in 11 hrs which means around midnight tonight PST. Will update if I actually see another one to claim tonight.

Yep just claimed another Starbucks $5 at midnight PST ( a bit later than their usual 8-9pm PST). Not sure why they allowed me to claim both Saturday and Sunday but I’ll take it!

That’s crazy. While I didn’t get an additional starbucks GC, I did finally get the referral money and bonuses they owed me. Showed up in my bank account today.
-
@mtnagel I got the $5 in my bank today too. I would take the referral money over Starbucks any day lol.

Same. I’ve been selling my Starbucks GCs. $3 in cash have more value to me than $5 at Starbucks.
-
Claimed the weekly Starbucks $5 at midnight PST. I was able to spin the wheel again and got $10 but noticed you actually have to make a referral to get it.

Make sure your credit is frozen before doing this (if at all, I recommend against it) because there have been reports on DOC and Facebook about HELOC applications, credit card applications, and IRS 4506C forms being authorized and sent out from this company.

Yikes! Thanks for the warning. Don’t click the wrong button when claiming the weekly Starbucks because it apparently signs you up for a credit card with one click!
I did get the $1 spin payout to my bank last week. I wonder if I’ll get the $10 spin I “won” a couple weeks ago. Anyone have an idea how often they let you spin the wheel?

This is exactly what happened to me! Credit card came yesterday via UPS Express with signature release. I wonder if rejecting it would have done anything. They probably would have just sent it again. Anyway, I sent them an email to close the credit account, but I suspect it will require a phone call. Ugh, what a shady company!

Sorry to hear that! I almost clicked that button a couple times too

Users on DOC and Facebook reported that the signup page has fine print saying that you authorize Aven the ability to pull tax transcripts (hence the notifications about IRS 4506C forms being sent out and pulled.)
I believe that Aven is using the tax transcript data as accurate’ish income data and combining it with the last 4 of SSNs and birthdays to apply for credit cards and HELOCs using your data, if your credit is not frozen.
I also believe that Aven is using the Plaid-linked bank accounts to set up the credit card and HELOC applications, although I initially thought that Plaid was just tokenized bank info without access to your actual bank account numbers. Not sure about that part.
