Laptop processors

 I’m comparing 2 laptops and the only obvious difference is the processor with the one with the faster processor being a little less expensive. Why is that? Does it matter if one doesn’t play games? 
 The specific laptops are this one and this one.
 I have $1100+ in Rewards on this Staples account, 99% of which is from ink recycling.
 I don’t really need a laptop ATM but why not?

 @my4mainecoons If you aren’t going to play games, I would just get a Mac if you can. It’s really night and day between PC laptops and the M series Macs. Gemini agrees that the one with the faster CPU is better, if you were to buy the dell.

  Is there a reason you are going with a business laptop? There are way cheaper laptops you can buy. I know you said you are using rewards points, but why waste them when you don’t need to?

 @mtnagel I prefer business machines. Machines for home use have always disappointed me. 
 I have other Rewards accounts and I use the points on those to buy stuff.

 @dangeruss I consider Chase points to be real money so wouldn’t spend them that way.
