@collector5 It worked for me on my computer. Maybe you have an ad-blocker or browser setting preventing it from working … when I completed my selections it even emailed me a pdf file with my selections for later use. Good luck, I hope you clear this up.

Anyone know when the Redbox Academy Awards Ballot perk points are supposed to be applied based on ballot matches?

@justacog Mine hit all my accounts at the same time. I received emails about it on 2/27 and the points were in the accounts when I checked after the emails arrived.

@justacog Well, my picks must have sucked because as of now I got ZERO points for that promotion.

@harperr - Even if you missed all the picks, you were supposed to get 1000 points just for submitting the ballot. Neither my account nor my mom’s had points credited. I managed to online chat with redbox and they credited mine, but said my mom would have to contact them herself. I had saved screen captures of my and her ballots. Apparently redbox has no idea what is going on or how to confirm ballots were or were not processed.

It definitely didn’t work for many people apparently, and it was supposed to be credited by 2/27, so if you didn’t get any points, chat with support to get them. I had e-mails that confirmed my “entry”, but I didn’t get any points. They seem to be pretty willing to add the points, so I think they know it didn’t work for a lot of people. Tell them how many you got correct, and they should give you the points.

@justacog Thanks for the tip about the online chat. I only got 3 picks right but they are supposed to credit my account with the missing 1,600 points in the next day or 2.

Just helped my mom get her points. Apparently redbox still doesn’t have a clue. The first agent wanted her credit card numbers and closed the chat before she could get her purse. The second agent wanted the ballot copy but had no way to send via chat or email so she made her type them into the chat before she would credit the points. I think maybe the Nevada Gaming Commission should send some 300 lbs greasy looking dudes to ask them about how their “game” is being played.

@connman - It wasn’t the full number, just the last 4 digits. I thought they may be confused about card used for rental, but that also doesn’t make sense because any number of cards could be used for rental as opposed to one tied to the account, and the query didn’t involve any monetary transaction that would involve a card.
