@Stonedcat You don’t have to use the link tool in the text editor. You can just copy and paste your link if you prefer: what will be seen on screen is the full web address like the blue text in your OP or, if the site supports it, a snapshot of the contents of the web page you linked to…
If you do use the link tool, type that label for your link (what viewers will see) inside of the brackets instead of “link text.” The actual URL/web address gets pasted over the text inside of the parentheses instead of “link url.” You’ll end up with something that looks like this: stonedcat wuz here
