Yep. And I do.
Although I feel like it tends to dry your skin more ( maybe the moisturizers are not so dilutable?)

I use Dawn dish washing liquid soap diluted as above in a reused foaming dispenser. I find that there is an optimal dilution that allows for quick application, dispersion and cleaning without requiring excess rinsing to try to remove the soap. I think the 'dryness" results from leaving soap residue behind. The great oracle Google mentions as much.
