-KSON - Donnie Rivera*** does anyone really want these names anymore? If not, it will reduce our time having to listening for them. I had to get out of a call to post these, unprofessional. Since it is timely to call back if it is your name, I wonder if the post are being used in time since it doesn’t appear that people are viewing them in time? Maybe we are losing interest since no one on this forum has been called … perhaps the radio stations weeded us out of the list? I am a loyal 94.9 listener but only listen for KSON for a friend.
UPDATE: someone PM’d me that they look for the names so we should continue to post them when we have them. As long as it helps someone, we can listen for them! I was just worried we were spending time here that we could use elsewhere and tomorrow and Monday starts a couple more name contests so the forum may have to speak up so we can pick and choose what we are interested in. Happy day to all.

I look for the names after 2pm, which I think is the time I signed up for…however it’s really hard for me to listen while I’m at work so I appreciate all the effort from everyone who’s been posting. If we miss a couple, nbd, since like you mentioned it seems like Entercom has been choosing “new” names for these contests.

And thank you to @Radiogrl, @pearldj, @Puggle, @aztec4life, @monkeydoug and many others (please don’t get offended if I didn’t mention you) who jump in to help with names, code words, etc. Teamwork makes the dream work…keep on dreaming of winning and lets make it happen! I have won thanks to the postings on here and I am appreciative of everyone participation. I know there are people who do not post to the form but are watching and also appreciate everyone’s help with the various posts from different contests.

@aztec4life you have the wisdom of many, @monkeydoug and others too. I thought about this and me trying to coordinate among us all to cover all the contests is unrealistic, like “hearding cats”, because our forum is ad-hoc for fun and users participation is on an as-available basis and fluid because we have other commitments. As you say “nbd if we miss a couple”, so I am gonna stop the rallying and let the forum be fluid which has made it so popular. Everyone, sorry for all the talk, I know that users just want posts with codes, names and new contests (without commentary or drama), I was just trying to make our forum better but I didn’t recognize that it was fine like it is. Thanks again for your insightful thoughts!
