But most important it says social distancing. Nice. Petco Park outdoors. Good one. Thanks for posting. If you go to the Ticketmaster pages for these concerts, you can see the setup. Stage around 2nd base not really close to anybody and then pods set up around stadium.

Thank you for your patience as I thought through this. In good faith, I cannot post or recommend any LA contests to San Diego residents because I am not 100% sure that they will give a prize to a resident outside of the Los Angeles listening area.
It would be bad to win a prize and then be disqualified because you aren’t a resident of Los Angeles or within their listening area. I am not saying that you won’t receive your prize if you win. But I am also not sure if you will receive your prize if you win.
Looking at it from a station’s perspective, why would they want to give prizes to a nonlocal resident when they can give it to a local resident? It doesn’t seem like a good business practice. Imagine if all the San Diego Radio stations gave away a lot of prizes to nonlocal residents. We would be like "What about us? " lol
And if an advertiser wanted to give prizes to San Diego residents, they would place their contest on a San Diego radio station website . Since these advertisers chose to put their contests on an LA station, they want their prizes to go to LA area residents.
So why try to go against the intent of the advertiser? Even if you are able to somehow win and receive the prize, it probably was intended to go to a person within the LA listening area.
Based upon thIs iHeart general rules… SD residents might not be eligible to enter LA contests.
(iii) who reside within the participating station’s listening area
And
individual who enters, attempts to enter or in any way participates or attempts to participate in any contest, sweepstakes or giveaways (“Contest”) conducted by iHeartMedia + Entertainment, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Sponsor”) (each such individual in hereinafter referred to as an “Entrant”) agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions provided in these Official General Contest Rules (“General Rules”), as well as by Sponsor’s interpretations of these General Rules
I will go back and edit my previous posts. I am sorry that I didn’t think this through but I have learned a lot. I was just trying to find additional opportunities to win prizes. Sorry about that. Thank you.

WHAT IS THIS Some kind of “Undependable 3rd Party Confusion” AS I get accused of even when doing what I am About to Do!! WHATEVER THAT IS You are Using—IT IS INCORRECT as far as >>General Rules<–It appears to be the Rules for >>LOCAL CALL IN<< Contests!! BUT Here it is >>THE ACTUAL REAL RULES For all Los Angeles Stations–BUT you will Still accuse they are False –THIS HAS BEEN>>COPIED & PASTED<<
OFFICIAL CONTESTING RULES & REGULATIONS
iHeartMedia Los Angeles
3400 W. Olive Ave. Suite 550, Burbank, CA 91505
818-559-2252
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. Eligibility and minimal age requirements vary depending on the nature of the contest. Subject to the specific contest rules; in general, all contestants must be at least 21 years old to be eligible for all contests affiliated with an alcoholic beverage manufacturer or distributor; all contestants must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to participate in contests that include hotel/motel accommodations, motor vehicles, boats, and/or air travel as prizes, and unless otherwise stated in the Official Contest Rules, >>no one under the age of sixteen (16) will be permitted to enter any contest. >>iHeartMedia Los Angeles Contests are open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia. If you are not a legal resident of one of the 50 states AND you are not the required age as of time of entry, you are not eligible to enter the Contest or to win a Prize. VOID IN ANY LOCATION WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW<<. ***Do not enter any contest if you are not located in the United States at the time of entry. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Refer to the specific contest’s Official Contest Rules for more details and …METHODS OF ENTRY: Online listeners to streamed broadcasts may experience a lag in transmissions due to buffering limitations. Listen to the Station for the times to play and how to enter or participate in a specific contest. The dates, times, entry methods, winner selection and prizes will vary with each station giveaway, as determined by the Station and announced.MEANING—Best to Check the Rules on EACH SPECIFIC Contest You Intend To Enter—the way it has Been For YEARS Kinda makes “General Sense” …2 years ago I won on 933 Calling from Cabo San Lucas… on a Cell phone …Set Up to make that call>>SAME as A LOCAL CALL A few weeks ago I won from a Station, Get emails from them, --Open to Residents of all 50 states of the U S, the “Merch” was shipped from the vendor…The concert was a “ZOOM” Event… but, especisally with al the $$$$ all these networks have put into their “Audacey” type streaming sharing content…almost All Stations have some good ion all 50 states. If yoiu’re using the Streaming service, You’re “In the listening Area” …Not saying it in the call-in rules kind off WAy…Like 91-X “Local contests that were csaller #91, Those ya had to be a San Diego, Resident, in fact it was asked first and they didn’t claim the winner until " Yes,I live in…”

@ronzilla All true, all true. For each broadcast tower exists a map, maintained by the tower operator for required FCC inspection indicating dead zones, diminished reception and clear signal boundaries. Similar maps are frequently seen by the public regarding mobile coverage claims (boastfully exaggerated when “not actual coverage” disclaimer present.)
My experience with Channel 8 San Diego prize redempion when I post-grad at JPL on the West Ridge of El Prieto Canyon my home received Ch8 clear. Prize redemption said “L.A. no.” I walked over to the tv and turned it on so the prize crew could hear live 8 news was on, and asked them to check their F.C.C. coverage map regarding our band of reception along shore faces of the San Bernadino Mnts.
Perhaps to avoid legal argument, they smiled and let me drive to SD for Sea World tix pick-up.
Also, if unrelated, as a kid we’d catch XETL Tijuana Mex. prizes here in L.A.(I’m on a Mexican Radio - misheard call sign “ekes eh caleon iguana Mexico”)Fun Fact: TV test pattern with the Indian wasn’t a card on a stand, it was a signal generator - an RCA TK-1C Monoscope Camera - Test Pattern Generator, a device who’s sole purpose was to output this signal continuously precision scanned from a super precise microprinting of pure carbon fused onto a platinum cathode permanently sealed within its image tube. These specialized single purpose cameras served as identical reference nationwide both in studio and to field engineers creating coverage maps, and who’s markings permitted measurement of all sorts - audio pitch and level gain, visual warp and snow, blanking, refresh, as well as a plethora of comparisons what the signal should look like and what your’e tuned to as visualized with an oscilloscope or two. For example the circles on each corner helped measure clipping/cropping and overscan and the divergent line groups of different width, while never touching on the cameras image plate, seemed to merge in the relatively low resolution of the receiver pixel density measured by how far away from the center they seem to separate, no longer a dark mass.

@disneywizard Thank you for that information on the “super precise microprinting of pure carbon fused onto a platinum cathode in the image tube” I remember those from over 55 years ago, anytime the Channel was not broadcasting Or as a station Identification. All had some differences “Uniqueness” to their “Pattern” or had an Acompanied Audio tone."I was unaware they were used as a Test//Monitor of Signal Ranges//Limitations and used as Mapping for Local Coverage – “Old Dog” learning things everyday…keeping Life Interresting! --Thank You!
