Not receiving all notifications

I saw that Connman had this issue a while back.
I haven’t isolated the problem. I haven’t changed any settings.
examples: I posted a question in Finance. Months later Mom answered me but I was not alerted to her response. I happened to see it because there was a new post in the “latest post”. I replied to her. She responded and I wasn’t alerted to her response.In this week’s Prime Day Deals thread, briarycliffs responded to a post I’d made 2 (?) days ago. I didn’t receive an alert.
OTH, I did receive notification when ctgolfer replied to my post in the thread about receiving credit for activating the Prime app.
I’ve received notifications re: being quoted and upvotes although I have no way of knowing if there are quotes/votes not alerting.

@dangeruss no. The most recent ones between Briarycliffs and myself in the Prime thread have not alerted.
