I had to reset my password already as I was locked out. Hopefully just a one time glitch? I think the best/most useful threads are the ones that update the latest bank rates like CD’s, savings, MMA’s. Some other past threads that were good were the bank bonus and best 0% no fee balance transfers.

RE: Best Balance Transfer Credit Cards
@marcopolomle: This is the first I have heard of those rules. They must be trying to stop people like me from doing a app-o-rama and opening multiple cards for 0% no fee bt’s. I have not had any issues opening up cards so far.

RE: Individual Stocks/Investments
My best investment currently is MORL at a $15 cost basis I’m earning 20% plus monthly dividend yield. The dividends are paid out monthly but vary from month. Some months are very high and some months are low but over the year average out to 20% or so plus stock appreciation. My overall return is like 40% for the year. I only invest in stocks that pay dividends anything else is just gambling IMO.

RE: CD Thread - Post The Best Nationally Available Rates
GTE financial credit union(nationally available) has high CD promo rates up to 2.78% 30 month promo(jumbo) and 2.53%(non jumbo). They are even paying for your $10 membership fee currently. This is the best rate you will find on a 2.5 year CD.

RE: Welcome FatWallet Refugees
I was so bummed out after I got the email the other day and also when they first ditched their cashback rewards program. Hopefully this forum will be even better though.

RE: Best Balance Transfer Credit Cards
Bank of America has a 0% no fee credit card for 15 months. I got a targeted one for 18 months and they actually gave me 22 months! It’s the plain vanilla bank americard with no cash back rewards. There is also the Chase Slate card 0% no fee for 15 months as well but I’m sure you already know about that one.
