OnPath CU is paying 4.25% on their Elite Money Market account with $25,000 or more. Not great, but pretty good by today’s standards.

Looking at the online reviews, they are not all that encouraging. I’m looking at https://cinefi.com/savings/ also at 4.25% but have read they compound monthly instead of daily. They also don’t appear to have any phone support, and the email I sent asking about that this morning is yet to be returned.

Was about to sign up and then I read the fine print,

Savings Now
or Confidence Savings account
as a primary or secondary account holder with Capital One on or after January 1, 2022, you will be ineligible for the bonus.

So I’m out.

OK, I saw something about 60 days but that’s how long it takes to get the bonus.
