Roger that. And I did, a big chunk. MBD is one of the few online banks that let you wire funds online. Just expect to get phone call confirmation.

RE: Best Nationally Available High APY Liquid Accounts
Roger has very low ACH limits for transfers originating through Roger. I could only move $500 from my external account into my Roger account. When I called, they said they could make a exception but would take a few days for approval. The only good thing was that the $500 transfer was done next day. Not sure if a higher amount would be the same.

@goldsheet I filled out the online forms and thought I indicated saving account, but when I went to log in, it only shows my checking account. Called customer service today and was able to add the savings account.

RE: Best Nationally Available High APY Liquid Accounts
@goldsheet They require you to open a checking account along with the savings. Not a big deal as you don’t have to use it.

Brilliant Bank MMA was 4.70% now 4.50% APY

Not everyone tracks and chases rates like we do.
So what about that, does a lawsuit make? If your nearby Exxon station sells gas for $4, but one a mile down the road sells it for $3.50, can you sue the first one for price gouging?

RE: Best Nationally Available High APY Liquid Accounts
@goldsheet Are people so stupid that they don’t regularly check available interest rates at their own or other banks? What makes this a lawsuit? Nothing except some money grabbing class action lawyers that will make millions in fees and the average account holder might get $10.

Coastal Community Bank
4 months later it says there is a wait list. Whole thing sounds fishy. 3% is more than many merchants pay in processing fees, so how does Robinhood make any money here?

RE: Best Nationally Available High APY Liquid Accounts
Anybody know something about Mercedes Demand notes paying 5.50%? https://firstclassdemandnotes.com/start Not FDIC insured and not any higher return than the top rates from insured accounts, but maybe as rates start to fall?

Milli (from FNBO) was 5.25%, now 5.50%
https://milli.bankI’d be very careful about opening an account there. Site seems a bit fishy and many online reviews suggest it’s a scam. No phone number for contact is one red flag. That you have to download an app to a phone to use it and not being able to use a computer is another.

RE: Best Nationally Available High APY Liquid Accounts
Interest is a lousy 3%, but if my math is correct, with the max bonus it come out to 7.5%? 3% on $50K for four months is $500, plus the $750 bonus = $1250 interest.
