So this is actually Central Bank of Kansas City? What is SkyOne in this mix? Is the account insured by FDIC or NCUA as on the SkyOne website?

Online application is screwed up. Declined me because, For the identity verification questions, applicants must correctly answer at least 4 out of 5 questions. But it never showed me any questions to answer.

I called them last night at 9:30 and left a message about not getting my account number after a week. Surprise surprise 10 minutes later I get a call back from a human saying they will email tomorrow the info. Sure enough, they did.

Don’t get too excited. When I applied, their identity verification denied me and they wouldn’t open an account manually.

I just got an email today saying thanks for opening an account. I guess I’m in after applying a week ago. Wonder if the hassle was worth it when another bank offers 2.75% next week.

I pulled money out back in February with no problem. I’ve had an account for 10 years and sometimes they have good rates and sometimes not. Now, not, otherwise I would investigate further.

Criminal is probably in Nigeria so good luck with that. Why would his professor send him $3950 and have him send the amount to a couple of people? Why didn’t the professor send the money directly? Why didn’t son call the professor and ask what this was for? Don’t they teach common sense in high school so this won’t happen?

PurePoint savings which has one of the best ACH speeds and limits and which HAD one of the highest rates, has been stuck at 0.40% for over a year. Why haven’t THEY gone up?

In that link, all I could find was a 0.81% checking account and to sign up to be put on a wait list to join.

CIBC Agility Savings Account now 1.27% but it won’t let you pull money from an external account. You can only go from the external account into CIBC.
